While we might just want to shake our heads and laugh, we can’t ignore the fact that society has lost its connection to agriculture. The more people who think that brown eggs are healthier or that organic farms don’t use pesticides, the closer modern agriculture gets to losing access to key technologies and being regulated out of business. However, social media has allowed farmers and ranchers – along with other advocates for agriculture – to reach a larger audience, and make a difference. Come learn about ways you can utilize social media to “advocate” and find the social media tools you need to tell the story of where food comes from.
