Spring is blooming here at the Idaho FFA Foundation!
The Idaho FFA State Convention wrapped up last week, and we’re proud to share some exciting highlights with our supporters. More than 1,800 students gathered for a week of competition, learning, connection, and celebration. Thanks to your support, the Idaho FFA Foundation was able to make a big impact.
State Convention Career and Leadership Development Event placings and results
This year, we awarded $83,000 in college scholarships and more than $10,000 in Washington Leadership Conference scholarships, supporting students as they take the next steps in their leadership and education journeys. Our Career Success Tour program also gave over 500 students the chance to explore the Magic Valley and learn about agriculture careers firsthand through hands-on industry tours and workshops.
We’re also pleased to welcome a new member to our team, Samantha Ball, our new Program and Event Manager. She brings great experience and energy to the role and is already diving into preparations for our upcoming events.
Speaking of which—our summer golf tournaments are just around the corner. These events play a critical role in helping us fund travel grants, classroom resources, student experiences, and teacher support across Idaho. Sponsorships and team spots are already filling up quickly, so if you’re interested, now’s the time to get involved!
I’m looking forward to seeing many of you this summer! But in the meantime, let us enjoy a safe and refreshing Spring.
“Spring is when the work begins, but it’s also when hope is planted.”
This season of new growth reminds us why we invest in young leaders — their potential is just beginning to emerge.
Thank you!

New Scholarship Endowment
The Idaho FFA Foundation is proud and grateful to announce a generous new scholarship endowment from the Marcoux Family of Northern Idaho. This winter, they committed $50,000 to establish a scholarship fund that will support Idaho FFA members pursuing higher education. Their investment in the future of agricultural leadership will make a lasting impact for years to come, with scholarships available starting in the Fall of 2025.
We extend our deepest thanks to the Marcoux Family for their dedication to Idaho’s future leaders. This contribution is a true testament to their belief in the power of education and the importance of agriculture in our state. Applications here
If you are interested in contributing directly to the Marcoux endowment, the Forever Idaho FFA Foundation endowment, or starting your own fund, please reach out to Carly Jordan.

This year, the Idaho FFA Foundation gifted 159 corduroy blue jackets to deserving students across Idaho. Jacket donations are $125 each and help support students starting their FFA journey! We are kindly seeking donations in late summer for next school year. Give the Gift of Blue
